Job summary

Taylor & Francis Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Analytics Analyst to transform data into actionable insights and support data-driven marketing strategies. You will join a customer-focused team and help shape dashboards and campaigns across multiple markets.

The role requires SQL proficiency, Power BI expertise, and strong communication to collaborate with stakeholders. A hybrid working model with office days at Milton Park, Oxfordshire, is offered.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Customer or Marketing Analyst.
  • Profiling and segmenting customer data.
  • Querying data using SQL.
  • Experience with A/B tests.
  • Creating dashboards with Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Source, clean, and transform data from various sources
  • Produce customer segmentation models for marketing purposes
  • Analyse customer behaviour to provide actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Assist marketing teams to design and implement data‑driven marketing campaigns

Taylor & Francis Group is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to join our Marketing Analytics Team. We are looking for a customer‑focused individual who can transform data into compelling narratives. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in shaping data‑driven strategies, supporting stakeholders, and enhancing overall marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source, clean, and transform data from various sources
  • Produce customer segmentation models for marketing purposes
  • Analyse customer behaviour to provide actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Assist marketing teams to design and implement data‑driven marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies using a variety of tools and techniques including A/B testing
  • Assist with forecasting, trend analysis and scenario modelling
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Assist in the development of marketing plans and strategies based on data analysis
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Provenexperience as a Customer or Marketing Analyst
  • Skilled in profiling and segmenting customer data
  • Proficient in querying data using SQL
  • Experienced in implementing and analysing A/B tests
  • Proficient in creating interactive dashboards, ideally using Power BI or a similar tool
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Experience using Python, R or Alteryx for data transformation & manipulation purposes
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience in statistical modelling techniques
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address data discrepancies
  • Strong time management skills
  • Committed to continuous learning and self‑development
Location:

We believe that great things happen when people connect face‑to‑face. That’s why we work in‑person with each other, or with customers and partners, three days a week or more. When you’re not spending time together in one of our offices or other workplaces – like at conference – you get the flexibility and support to work from home or remotely.

The successful candidate will be able to utiliseour balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our offices to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in‑person time, with those 3 days a week spent in our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire.

Please note, our Milton Park office will be relocating to Oxford city centre in late 2027 / early 2028, offering an exciting new workplace in the heart of the city.
