Fox & Firkin in Greater London is seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to own paid advertising strategy and optimise campaigns to drive awareness, engagement and ticket sales for our shows and events. The role requires a self-driven, well-organised candidate who can prioritise workload across ads, content and reporting with minimal supervision. Collaboration with the Marketing Lead is essential.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience managing paid advertising campaigns on Meta and other platforms.
  • Strong understanding of paid social strategy, targeting, and campaign optimisation.
  • Video editing and short-form content creation skills.
  • Experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills across social media, print and email.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Paid advertising: create, launch and manage ad campaigns to support ticket sales.
  • Set up campaigns, audiences, budgets, creative and copy aligned with marketing strategy.

Job description

The Digital Marketing Executive will primarily own the strategy, management and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns, with a particular focus on driving awareness, ticket sales and engagement across the venue’s shows and events.

Alongside paid advertising, they will manage day to day social media activity across the venue, brewery and, eventually, restaurant brand. The role will also support the Marketing Lead with wider digital marketing and campaign activity as required.

This is a self driven role which requires strong organisational skills, as you'll be expected to prioritise and manage your own workload across paid ads, content and reporting with limited daily oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Paid advertising.

  • Create, launch and manage ad campaigns to support ticket sales.

  • Set up campaigns, audiences, budgets, creative and copy in line with marketing strategy and campaigns, agreed with Marketing Lead.

  • Monitor campaigns and make daily optimizations to maximise budget and improve results.

  • Track metrics to find opportunities and areas of improvement.

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time and within an agreed budget.

  • Social media across the venue and restaurant

  • Manage daily posting on socials

  • Create and adapt social content including posts, stories, reels and other promotional assets in line with campaign objectives

  • Maintain social media schedule

  • Schedule and publish content across all social channels, ensuring all posts are accurate and true to the brand

  • Monitor social media metrics, to inform future campaigns

  • Community management

  • Respond to messages, comments and enquiries in a timely manner

  • Monitor audience feedback across socials and ads

  • Website updates

  • Support marketing lead with website management and updates

  • Make sure website content is aligned with current marketing campaigns and activity

  • Work with external contacts to ensure updates are made quickly and efficiently

  • General Marketing support

  • Support Marketing Lead with the delivery of wider marketing campaigns and delivery

  • Assist with asset coordination

  • Contribute ideas to help the overall success of marketing campaigns

Candidate Specification
Essential
  • 2+ years' experience managing paid advertising campaigns on Meta.

  • Strong understanding of paid social strategy, targeting, creative testing and campaign optimisation.
