Qualifications

• Industry software engineering experience, preferably within financial services.
• Proficiency with C#, Python, Java or similar.
• Good knowledge of database design and data structures.
• Proficiency with SQL-related technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS such as ECS, S3, DynamoDB is desirable.
• Evidence of exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support and productionise data and analytics that are integral to our products.
• Enhance understanding of financial markets and how market data is used within our key products.
• Contribute to new tools development for data lineage, governance and reporting.
• Research data storage techniques and processing for large data sets.
• Utilise our in-house big data language for large-scale modelling and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve and understand critical production issues.
