Job summary

TradingHub Group is seeking a Software Engineer (Market Data) in London to design, build, and maintain their market data environment. The role involves working alongside Pricing Quants and Risk Strats to productionise data, contributing to new tools for data governance, and collaborating on production issues.

The successful candidate will have strong programming skills in C#, Python, or Java, and a good understanding of database design and AWS technologies. TradingHub offers a hybrid working policy, annual bonus, and further training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Industry software engineering experience, preferably within financial services.
• Proficient with C#, Python, Java or similar programming languages.
• Good knowledge of database design and data structures.
• Proficiency with SQL-related technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS such as ECS, S3, DynamoDB is desirable.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and productionise data and analytics integral to TradingHub's products.
• Enhance understanding of financial markets and market data usage.
• Contribute to new tools development for data lineage and governance.
• Research data storage techniques for large data sets.
• Utilise in-house big data language for modelling and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on critical production issues.
