Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc invites applications for a Through Life Systems Manager in the Bristol area. The role provides the support and maintenance layer for globally deployed maritime systems, ensuring high uptime and continuous improvement across national networks, sensors and command facilities.

You will manage life-cycle asset management, coordinate in-country partners, and drive proactive maintenance and escalation handling to meet SLAs while collaborating across UK and overseas teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or IT.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in a through-life support role, preferably in technical or project-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of global service desk management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Appreciation of cultural differences in overseas territories and ability to communicate well with customers and advisors overseas.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and running a through-life asset management system for key SRT equipment.
• Ensuring systems are supported and maintained throughout their contracted sustainment period to agreed service levels.
• Managing our task management system (Zuper) for efficient scheduling and reporting of maintenance.
• Overseeing Zendesk ticketing for efficient issue management to resolution.
• Act as escalation point maintaining high customer satisfaction in line with SLAs.
• Lead weekly meetings with in-country partners, project managers, and customer success teams.
