Job summary

Frontier Resourcing LTD is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to own integration and test across complex maritime and autonomous defence systems. You will lead the design, execution and verification of test regimes for evolving platforms, with hands-on delivery and technical leadership.

A background in Royal Navy or naval autonomy is preferred. You will develop reusable test infrastructure, automation, simulation and hardware-in-the-loop capabilities, and collaborate across software,

Qualifications

• Experience leading integration and test across complex hardware/software systems.
• Proven ability to design and execute repeatable test strategies in defence/maritime contexts.
• Hands-on test automation and scripting experience (Python) with modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration and test of complex systems incorporating software, hardware, networks, radios, sensors and user devices.
• Design and execute rigorous, repeatable test strategies for evolving maritime autonomous products and systems.
• Develop reusable test infrastructure, automation frameworks, simulation and emulation environments, and hardware-in-the-loop capability.
• Automate test execution, data capture and analysis to improve engineering feedback and system performance.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware and product engineering teams to ensure testability is embedded throughout the lifecycle.
• Establish consistent integration, verification and validation processes, including defect management and lifecycle closure.
