Direct the technical vision for a software-defined maritime autonomy ecosystem, spanning embedded vessel services, onshore remote operations, telemetry, and payload integration. You will lead governance, safety, verification, and interface management, ensuring robust design gates, test strategies (SIL/HIL), and cross-system collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven track record architecting complex autonomy/robotics solutions.
• Experience in safety-critical systems and assurance frameworks.
• Ability to translate mission profiles into verifiable deployments.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Governance: establish multi-layer blueprints for embedded vessel services and onshore remote ops.
• Safety & Control Logic: define state-management and fail-safe behaviors.
• Roadmap & Requirements: translate roadmaps into delivery sprints and benchmarks.
• Verification & Testing: design SIL/HIL strategies and oversee live sea trials.
• Interface Management: manage APIs, data schemas, and ICDs across teams.
• Technical Leadership & Vendor Mgmt: mentor engineers and guide external suppliers.
• Field & Trial Engagement: participate in platform commissioning and on-water testing.
