Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Ship Safety Lead (Fire Safety & Engineering) in Belfast. You will work with a variety of stakeholders to develop and implement UK ship safety regulations and guidance, ensuring they are clear, balanced and aligned with Government obligations.

Joining the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, you will contribute to fire safety, life-saving equipment and other vessel safety objectives.

Mansioni

• Lead the negotiation, development, implementation and management of subject specific objectives
• Provide a focal point role for industry and colleagues on UK objectives and regulations
• Draft instructions for Government lawyers for preparation and timely implementation of regulations and codes and guidance
• Provide responses to stakeholders, including FOI enquiries and parliamentary questions
