Job summary

STARK is seeking a Product Manager for Maritime to own the software-defined maritime capabilities and sensor suites. You will coordinate with System Engineering, Project Delivery, and Operations to translate operational requirements into mass‑scalable platforms that give NATO forces maritime superiority.

The role covers end-to-end development from prototype to deployment, including safety and regulatory compliance, with a bias for action and cross‑functional collaboration across defence partners.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in maritime/systems engineering.
• Experience delivering complex maritime/defence systems.
• Understanding of maritime operations and sensor integration.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate regulatory requirements.
• Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of software-defined maritime capabilities and sensor suites.
• Direct integration of sensors and autonomous software across System Engineering, Project Delivery, and Operations teams.
• Drive testing strategies including SITL, HITL, and full hardware/software integrations.
• Lead strategic market analysis to identify platform opportunities for NATO allied forces.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from prototype to deployment and customer acceptance.
• Enforce rigorous safety and compliance standards across the maritime product portfolio.
• Communicate product vision and milestones to internal stakeholders and external defence partners.
