Job summary

OneOcean is seeking a creative Instructional Designer to craft engaging maritime learning experiences. You will work with Product Managers, Visual Designers, Courseware Developers and SMEs to translate requirements into effective eLearning across a global audience.

The role focuses on refurbishing legacy content into interactive journeys, following ADDIE and agile methods, with a strong emphasis on learner-centric design and quality. This is a fixed-term contract lasting 18 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough needs analyses to identify learning gaps and objectives.
• Create engaging and interactive online learning materials with SMEs.
• Utilise authoring tools and learning technologies to deliver learning solutions.
• Partner with the LX Manager to develop assessment strategies and measure effectiveness.
• Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders and team members for content accuracy.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and share ideas to improve processes.
