Job summary

Sperry Marine in the United Kingdom is seeking a Configuration Engineer / Controller to join our Engineering team in New Malden. You will manage product configurations, BOMs and baselines, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance across the lifecycle.

You will work with Engineering, Supply Chain and Compliance to oversee changes, participate in Change Review Boards and gatekeep releases. The role suits detail-oriented professionals with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in configuration management and engineering change management.
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems (Windchill desirable).
• Experience in regulated industries and lifecycle governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage configurations, BOMs and baselines within ERP.
• Maintain configuration control across hardware, mechanical and software.
• Support part creation, data, export classifications and regulatory docs.
• Coordinate engineering change requests and oversee implementation.
• Gatekeep releases and revisions of parts, products and docs.
• Support Change Review Boards and assess change impacts.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and ISO standards; assist audits.
