Job summary

Haskoning in Edinburgh seeks a structural/civil marine engineer to work on high-profile international port and maritime projects, collaborating with leading professionals in the sector.

You will contribute to engineering design, feasibility studies, and master plans, with travel within the UK and overseas. The role offers autonomy in a flat organisation and development opportunities toward Chartership.

Qualifications

• Civil or structural engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Maritime structures background desirable.
• Based in Edinburgh with willingness to travel UK/overseas.
• Working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs and analyses for maritime structures from concept to detail.
• Collect and collate design data, inspect and survey sites.
• Produce design calculations and review others' work.
• Produce CAD sketches and details for CAD drafting (Revit where possible).
• Prepare draft bills, documents, and specifications.
• Prepare reports and presentations; undertake structural analyses.
• Provide technical judgment and contribute to study reports.
• Support commercial/technical project management and client development.
