Are you a senior structural/civil marine engineer looking for the next step in your career? With us, you get to work on globally significant projects, both locally and internationally, whilst working with leading professionals within the maritime sector.
Your role will involve using your technical and practical experience to develop engineering design solutions for maritime civil engineering structures in ports and shipyards, utilizing materials such as steel, concrete, and timber according to relevant design codes. You will contribute to all project stages, from inception through design and construction to demolition, recycling, and reuse. Your technical and commercial experience, along with your ability to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, will be vital to the success of the projects you work on. You will act as a Project Manager for small and medium-sized projects or a Technical Manager on large/complex projects. You provide guidance to more junior staff, including project managers, engineers, graduates, technicians and admin staff working on your projects. Furthermore, you will:
Your role will involve giving presentations to client organisations and internal audiences, providing engineering judgment and advice, and reviewing (or preparing) study reports to a high standard of written English. You will provide commercial awareness of projects to deliver profitable results within the programme by setting and agreeing expectations and achieving on-time delivery. You will contribute to local, national, and international business development efforts through the production of proposals and interaction with clients.
