Job summary

MSIG Specialty Marine is a captive managing general agent providing tailored marine insurance solutions and market-leading underwriting support. The role supports the Assistant Underwriting Manager in reporting, monitoring and data analysis across its offices in Europe and Asia.

You will be exposed to performance monitoring, business planning, exposure management and data entry, with responsibilities spanning reserving, market analysis and management information delivery.

Qualifications

• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as being a valued team member.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience within the insurance industry desired.
• Competent using the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Experience with Sequel Impact and SQL Server Management Studio is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Underwriting Manager in reserving and portfolio monitoring across regions and product lines.
• Prepare performance and monitoring reports and analysis.
• Coordinate outputs for various stakeholders and ad-hoc queries.
• Assist in the annual Underwriting Business Plan and regional business planning.
• Support exposure data entry into modelling software and risk reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with policy, risk, regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to project delivery and cross-functional initiatives.
