Job Title: Marine Personnel Officer - Crewing (Cruise)
Location: Glasgow

Who are we recruiting for?
We are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised ship management company with one of the largest managed fleets in the world. As part of their dedicated crewing operations team in Glasgow, they are now hiring a Marine Personnel Officer to oversee crewing for their cruise vessels. This role is essential to ensuring safe, compliant, and timely crew changes and coordination across Deck, Engine, and Hotel departments.

What will you be doing?

  • Coordinating crew changes across multiple departments for cruise vessels, including travel, visa, and certification checks.
  • Ensuring all seafarer documentation is valid, compliant with flag and client requirements, and up to date.
  • Liaising with vessels, internal departments, and external agencies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supporting the mobilisation and demobilisation of crew members in accordance with planning schedules.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records in the crewing database and assisting with any audits or compliance-related matters.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • You have 1+ years of experience in a crewing or marine personnel coordination role, ideally within the cruise or luxury yacht sector.
  • Familiarity with crew certification (STCW), visa requirements, and international travel logistics.
  • Highly organised with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working full-time in the Glasgow office with a professional and proactive approach.
  • Seagoing experience is not essential but a bonus.
