Job summary

Forth Ports Group is seeking a Marine Manager to lead the Port of Grangemouth Marine team, ensuring safe and efficient movement of vessels while coordinating with FTNS and port operations. This role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to operate across multiple priorities in a busy port environment.

You will travel to Leith and other Scottish ports as needed, supervise marine staff and assets, implement Harbour Authority guidance and company policies, and drive continuous safety

Qualifications

• Senior seagoing or port experience with relevant competency certificate.
• Proven ability to manage people and projects in a port/marine setting.
• Knowledge of Port Marine Safety Code and byelaws.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Marine operations at Port of Grangemouth.
• Coordinate with FTNS and port operations for safe vessel movements.
• Lead marine staff and assets for safety and efficiency.
• Respond to oil spills and emergencies as on-scene commander.
• Conduct marine accident investigations as required.
