Artisan Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Lead/Foreman for a hands-on leadership role in our marine engineering client’s team. You will oversee mechanical operations, support on-site teams, and ensure high-quality, safe outcomes for clients.

The role requires strong leadership, a proactive communication style, and the ability to manage multiple crews, including welding teams, while maintaining timely reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical operations on site.
• Strong mechanical engineering background with hands-on leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mechanical operations under the Line Manager.
• Provide prompt and professional client communication.
• Ensure high standard of workmanship and safety in workshop and on site.
• Overtime may be required including weekends.
• Coordinate material orders and job planning with management.
• Act as point of contact for mechanical crews and welding teams.
