You will work within a collaborative team, producing high-quality technical reports and supporting site-based data collection as required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of marine power plant systems and propulsion equipment.
• Experience with FE/BE analysis using ANSYS, ABAQUS or NASTRAN.
• Understanding of vibration, shaft alignment and dynamic response analysis.
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
• Experience in marine, offshore or heavy engineering environments.
• Proactive approach with ability to manage workloads and prioritise.

Aufgaben

• Conduct detailed technical investigations into system and component failures.
• Perform numerical analysis using specialist engineering software.
• Produce high-quality technical reports for client delivery.
• Support advisory teams with technical expertise, including site-based activities.
• Present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals and define scopes of work aligned to client expectations.
• Support project delivery, including monitoring progress and costs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.
