Job description

Are you an experienced marine geotechnical engineer ready to take the next step in your career? This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy working at the forefront of the marine sector. You'll contribute to a wide range of offshore projects across renewable energy, subsea cables, ports and harbours, oil and gas, and energy transition.

1. Interpret geotechnical data, review seabed and soil investigations, conduct geohazard assessments, and develop strategies for trenching and offshore construction.
2. Work closely with clients and internal teams, contributing your technical expertise to deliver innovative, practical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil or geotechnical engineering and at least three years of experience in marine geotechnical work. Essential skills include a solid understanding of offshore risks and mitigation strategies, experience in geotechnical investigations or subsea infrastructure, and excellent communication skills.

Additional advantageous qualifications include offshore renewables, cable or pipeline project experience, marine surveys, data visualisation tools such as GIS or CAD, certifications like NEBOSH or marine survival training, or fluency in a second language.
