Job description

Marine Environmental Consultant - Senior or Principal

Liphook - Hybrid and remote options

Competitive

We're looking for a talented and motivated Senior or Principal Marine Environmental Consultant to join our clients team. Based in Liphook with flexible hybrid working options, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a respected consultancy with over 30 years' experience delivering environmental support to offshore energy projects. You'll be working on a diverse portfolio across subsea cables, offshore renewables, and oil and gas, helping to deliver sustainable consultancy solutions as the world moves towards a low carbon future.

The role involves undertaking and managing a variety of environmental assessments, including EIA, SEA, and HRA, and guiding projects through complex permitting and consenting processes. You'll need a strong technical foundation, proven project management capability, and experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with regulators. We're seeking someone with excellent communication and analytical skills, who can lead on both client delivery and innovation in the marine sector.

This is more than a technical role - it's a chance to shape and grow our environmental services, develop professionally, and contribute to projects that make a real difference. If you have around 8 years of relevant experience, and a passion for the marine environment and energy transition, we'd love to hear from you.

We partner with our clients and candidates on roles that build an understanding of climate change, promote sustainability and create inclusive and responsible organisations, working towards a sustainable world for us all. Committed to inclusiveness in the workplace, we aim to increase diversity across all areas and therefore welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, age, or whether or not they have a disability. Let's help build a better world, together.
