Job summary

Lloyd’s Register in Southampton is seeking an Electrotechnical & Cybersecurity Specialist. You will deliver consultancy across marine electrotechnology and cyber security, engage clients to define scopes, cost estimates and delivery plans, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes agile thinking, effective communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, with occasional travel to support international customers.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience with marine electrical, electronic and automation systems design, integration, testing and assurance.
• Strong background in cyber security for maritime OT/ICS, including risk assessments and threat modelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical proposals for clients with estimated costs and timescales.
• Expand on or create opportunities to offer services to clients and present them when needed.
• Establish, develop and maintain long-term client relationships and collect feedback.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes and industry standards.
• Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain high discipline and knowledge.
• Support the development of others through coaching and knowledge transfer.
