Job description

Location: Lee Valley Marina, Springfield

Here at Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, we are looking for a motivated & ambitious individual to manage and lead our team at Lee Valley Marina, Springfield.

Sited on the lower reaches of the River Lea adjacent to Walthamstow Marshes nature reserve, the marina has 200 berths and is close to central London and the West End. Our Marina provides all marina services including moorings, boat repairs, boat craning and a well-stocked chandlery.

Your role will be to manage and develop the business of the Marina in line with the Authority’s Business Plan, keeping abreast of trends, changes and competition within the Marina industry.

The ideal candidate should have previous managerial and operational experience as well as a keen interest in Marina’s. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who will be responsible for the smooth day‑to‑day running, with full accountability for the performance of the site. Leading from the front, demonstrating brilliant customer service to develop loyalty and handling any customer concerns. You will be expected to bring fresh, new and exciting ideas to deliver growth for the business.
