Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is assisting a client in West Oxfordshire to recruit a Manufacturing Workshop Assistant. This entry-level role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 42.5 hours per week, with a salary of £24,000-£29,000 depending on age and experience.

You will work across the manufacturing process to help prepare, assemble and finish bespoke aluminium gates, developing practical skills while contributing to quality standards in a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Preparing aluminium gates for painting, including sanding, filling and surface preparation.
• Assisting with painting and finishing gates.
• Cutting aluminium components and assisting with CNC machinery.
• Helping to assemble and manufacture bespoke gates.
• Checking work and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Moving materials and helping to keep the workshop organised.
• Cleaning and maintaining the workshop and equipment.
• Assisting with stock takes and keeping materials organised.
• Helping other members of the manufacturing team when required.
• Learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities as you develop.
