Job summary

ITM Power in the UK is seeking a Manufacturing Vision Engineer to lead the design, integration, commissioning and optimisation of machine vision and automated inspection systems across production equipment.

You will work with Automation, Process and Quality teams to define inspection requirements and ensure stable operation during ramp-up and high-volume production, focusing on AOI, camera systems and DMC-based identification.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (HND/HNC with relevant experience also considered).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering with industrialisation/NPI.
• Experience with machine vision systems and AOI in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration and commissioning of machine vision systems into production lines.
• Define vision inspection requirements with Process, Quality, and Automation teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimise vision system performance.
• Support industrialisation of new equipment and standardise inspection across machines.
