Job summary

ABB in Coleshill, UK, is seeking a senior operations leader to own the manufacturing unit, overseeing Production, Planning, Maintenance, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics. You will drive safety, efficiency, and cost optimization while aligning standards across the EMEA network.

The role requires a solid engineering background, leadership in manufacturing, and expertise in lean practices with SAP exposure.

Qualifications

Solid degree in Engineering or comparable technical field.
Several years of leadership experience in manufacturing/operations.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the Coleshill manufacturing unit covering Production, Planning, Maintenance, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality, Operational Excellence and Logistics.
Drive safety culture and health and safety of all employees and contractors at the site; improve HSE and environmental performance.
Initiate and lead improvement programs to increase efficiency and resource utilization; share best practices across the EMEA network.
Manage budget, CAPEX, and drive gross margin, productivity and cost optimization.
Secure on-time delivery (SOTD/ROTD) and improve lead times in collaboration with Demand Planning and Logistics.
Harmonize processes and KPIs across sites; support footprint and product portfolio optimization.
