Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is recruiting a Manufacturing Technician for our Elstree site. The role involves manual production tasks and packaging within a grade B & C cleanroom, requiring full PPE. It is a 40-hour week Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays and no shift work.

Starting salary around £28,000 with 25 days’ leave and Christmas shutdown. Applicants should have GCSEs, strong communication, and the ability to work in a regulated environment, with awareness of GMP/GDP requirements.

Qualifications

• GCSE level standard or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a cross functional team.
• Background in manufacturing, ideally in a highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge of SOPs and non-conformances would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Generate batch documentation as appropriate.
• Carry out tasks on the manufacturing plan including basic cleanroom maintenance checks.
• Complete transactions on computerized ERP system.
• Inform Senior Manufacturing Technician / Supervisor if allocated tasks are not completed.
• Carry out other duties as allocated outside of the manufacturing process and use own initiative to find/complete other work.
• Attend and participate in operations department meetings.
• Work cohesively with other team members to achieve the target outputs.
