Job summary

Randstad UK is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to appoint a Manufacturing Technician I in Cramlington. You will work in a cGMP-cleanroom to safely produce sterile single-use medical products, ensuring orders are completed to meet customer deadlines.

The role is a 12-month contract, requiring PPE discipline, SOP/batch record literacy, and precise assembly on a defined production line with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern and 20% shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment with cGMP experience.
• Ability to read Batch Record Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safe working practices using PPE.
• Maintain 5S standards in the production area.
• Ensure product quality and cGMP compliance.
• Assemble critical material components on a defined production line.
• Read, follow, and understand batch records and SOPs.
• Handle and use manual, electronic, and pneumatic hand tools.
• Record critical cGMP data in the batch record.
• Work 4 x 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation.
