Job summary

Twinings Ovaltine in Andover is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for Blending & Logistics on a double day shift. The role covers efficient operation of tea manufacturing processes, meeting production plans, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with two vacancies. You will work 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm on alternating weeks, with on-site benefits including an onsite restaurant, parking, discounts and pension.

Qualifications

• Forklift Truck driving certificate - essential.
• Experience of working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your own time.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and continuously to improve safety and efficiency.
• Work as part of a team to deliver quality products and meet production targets.
• Apply training knowledge to resolve issues and involve the right people as needed.
• Complete daily reports (stoppage, end of run, quality checks) and analyse data to gauge performance.
• Support co-workers with training and development to strengthen the team.
• Be a proactive team member, flexible to business needs and focused on targets.
• Adhere to company policies, health, safety and quality standards.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technician in our dynamic manufacturing team in the Packing Hall on a double days working pattern. One week you will work 6am to 2pm and the next 2pm to 10pm. Within the role, you will contribute to the successful growth of the business through the efficient running of the tea manufacturing process, meeting agreed production plans, safety procedures and quality controls.
