Job summary

Twinings is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the Blending & Logistics team in Andover on a double days shift (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm). This 12-month fixed-term contract reports to the Andover Supply Centre and offers growth opportunities within the tea manufacturing process.

You will operate world-class machinery, drive safety and quality, and contribute to meeting production plans while learning on a dynamic site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Forklift Truck driving certificate (essential).
• Experience of working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your own time.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Reliability and self-motivation with good organisation.

Responsibilities

• Operate our machinery safely and continuously look for ways to improve safety and efficiency.
• Work as part of a team to meet production plans and quality standards.
• Use training to resolve issues and involve the right people.
• Complete daily reports (stoppages, end of run, quality checks) and analyze data.
• Support co-workers with training and development to strengthen the team.
• Be flexible and drive autonomous working to meet targets.
• Adhere to health, safety, and quality procedures.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in the Packing Hall on a double days working pattern. One week you will work 6am to 2pm and the next 2pm to 10pm. Within the role, you will contribute to the successful growth of the business through the efficient running of the tea manufacturing process, meeting agreed production plans, safety procedures and quality controls.

Please note that this is 12 months fixed-term contract, 2 vacancies.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Be able to work a rotating double day shift pattern.
• Forklift Truck driving certificate - essential.
• Experience of working in a warehouse environment.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively being able to manage your own time.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on giving clarity to others.

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
