Role:

Mechanical Build Technician

Rate:

£35 - £45/hour Umbrella

Our client is a pioneering company in the clean energy sector, transforming power generation with innovative, fuel-flexible solutions designed to eliminate harmful emissions. With a strong focus on sustainability, it is driving the shift away from diesel generators in industries like construction, events, and renewable energy backup. Backed by successful projects, industry recognition, and a growing customer base, the company is set for significant growth in 2025 and beyond.

We are now seeking a Mechanical Build Technician to join our client on this journey and contribute to the development of our breakthrough climate tech solutions.

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a cornerstone role in assembling and testing advanced, fuel-flexible power systems. Your hands-on expertise will drive the successful production of high-value, technically advanced products, supporting industries in their shift toward cleaner energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble sub-systems and full electro-mechanical systems based on detailed engineering drawings and build documentation.
  • Perform intricate and high-precision manual assembly.
  • Work closely with the commissioning team to test, troubleshoot, and ensure all systems meet customer requirements and high company standards.
  • Uphold rigorous attention to detail in every aspect of the build.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet production targets.
  • Achieve daily and weekly assembly targets while maintaining quality standards.
About You

You'll bring proven experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly and a commitment to precision and excellence. Working independently or in collaboration, you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
