Job summary

Adecco Portugal is recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician in Birmingham on a 6-month temporary assignment. The role involves supporting production activities in a regulated environment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while following SOPs.

You will follow daily production plans, manage materials, perform routine equipment checks, record data, and assist with improvements. The role offers training, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a 3:30pm finish.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent.
• Desirable experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, laboratory, or similar environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow written procedures and instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Reliable, organized and able to work as part of a team.

Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour
Contract: 6-Month Temporary Assignment

Manufacturing Technician Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to join a busy manufacturing team in Birmingham on a 6-month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience within a regulated production environment, supporting the manufacture of high-quality products used across the healthcare and diagnostics sector.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring production activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Working Environment

This role is based within a manufacturing environment and may involve:

• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Handling materials and chemical solutions safely.
• Following strict health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Lifting and moving items up to 20kg when required.
• Standing for extended periods during the working day.
• Occasional overtime, including weekends, to support business requirements.
