Job summary

OLG Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader for a site in Elsham. The role ensures safe, efficient manufacturing, upholding GMP and quality targets. You will guide operators, drive continuous improvement, and report to the Manufacturing Manager.

The successful candidate will lead a shift, monitor KPIs (OEE, downtime, scrap) and maintain a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and KPIs (OEE, scrap, efficiency).
• Experience with Health & Safety and Quality Management systems (ISO 9001 / BRCGS preferred).
• Confident communicator who can lead and influence others.
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience desirable.
• First Aid / Fire Marshal training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop production operators to meet safety, quality and output targets.
• Conduct attendance management and return-to-work interviews per policy.
• Foster continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping.
• Highlight and report shift metrics; handover to next shift.
• Provide daily team briefings and KPIs updates.
