MBDA Missile Systems in Stevenage is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to drive the shop floor, delivering hardware builds from cables to complex systems, prototyping and machining, across the product lifecycle.
You will lead a multi-disciplined team, ensure on-time, on-cost and quality targets, manage resources and maintain a safe 5S workplace while building strong relations with unions and stakeholders. The role offers development and a competitive package.

Circa £47,000 depending on experience
5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undertake HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
This opportunity is for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join the Manufacturing team supporting the management of the shop floor. You will be providing Operations leadership to an integrated team to ensure programme targets are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
You will be leading a team of multi-disciplined operators in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive Manufacturing environment. The team has a great mix of people, ranging from apprentices through to experienced skilled technicians, all striving to deliver technical excellence from Cable builds, System builds, Machining and Prototyping in development.
