Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader in Devon to drive production excellence within a world-class aerospace facility. You will lead manufacturing teams, implement Lean and CI initiatives, and champion safety, quality, and delivery performance in a dynamic production environment.

The role demands strong leadership, robust problem-solving, and the ability to manage KPIs across Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, and Productivity while fostering a High-Performance culture.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in Manufacturing or Operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge.
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and 6S.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Strong problem-solving using 8D or A3.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing and production activities within a defined production area.
• Coach and develop production teams to achieve operational targets.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Deliver KPIs including Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, and Productivity.
• Champion High Performance Work Teams and employee engagement.
• Support maintenance and facilities activities to maximise plant performance.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Team Leader to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing business at its Devon based facility.

Working within a highly innovative aerospace environment, you will lead production teams, drive operational excellence, and champion continuous improvement initiatives to deliver outstanding safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance.
