Job summary

Gü Desserts | Certified B Corp™ is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader in Bishop's Stortford for a 4 days on/4 days off shift (7am-7pm) on a fixed-term contract through June 2027. You will lead a manufacturing team to deliver high-quality, safe desserts, supporting and coaching colleagues while driving safety, quality and efficiency.

The role develops leadership skills towards a Shift Manager position, with emphasis on teamwork, training, and continuous improvement across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in FMCG food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, food safety and health & safety requirements.
• Strong communication and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Proactive problem-solver with a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to interpret data and use it to improve production performance.
• Positive attitude, openness to new ideas and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Commitment to P.A.C.E values: Pioneering, Accountable, Considerate and Energetic.
