Abbott invites applications for a multi-skilled Support Engineer II to join the Operations Group in Witney. The role covers preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, monitoring equipment performance and driving yields and efficiencies in a controlled environment.

You will support the Projects Team with equipment changes and work in a 4 on 4 off Days/Nights rotation. Manufacturing experience with precision assemblies, machine tools and fault finding is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Completed apprenticeship or ONC/HNC/HND/degree in a related subject.
• Continuous Improvement mindset and ability to document results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, maintain and continually improve bespoke automated equipment and processes.
• Support Projects Team in implementing equipment changes.
• Communicate effectively with peers and other departments and maintain records per quality systems.
