Job summary

ABB Emergency Lighting UK seeks a site leader in Morley to transform the manufacturing unit and drive performance across production, planning, logistics and quality. You will own the transformation roadmap, deliver productivity, quality and customer satisfaction while building a high-performing leadership team and ensuring safety and compliance.

Based onsite, you will align with EMEA priorities, manage budgets, and lead change initiatives to improve service levels and financial performance,

Qualifications

• 5/10 years of experience leading a production or manufacturing site.
• Strong understanding of Emergency Lighting products and manufacturing requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Implement the global business unit strategy within the manufacturing unit and ensure alignment with EMEA priorities.
• Own and deliver the site transformation roadmap, driving operational excellence, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead day-to-day operations across production, planning, logistics, supply chain, engineering, quality, and HSE.
• Deliver key KPIs including EBITA, revenue, cost, productivity, and delivery performance.
• Build and inspire a high-performing site leadership team and support long-term talent development.
• Ensure compliance with ABB values, Code of Conduct, and all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Sponsor change initiatives across the site to adopt new processes and ways of working.
• Establish strong customer and supplier partnerships to drive continuous improvement.
