Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in Grangemouth, UK, is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Team Leader to oversee the execution of manufacturing processes within the GMP suite. You will plan resources, ensure staff safety, and drive quality and on-time release of product.

You will manage a direct reports team, set goals, monitor process performance metrics, and maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Regulatory requirements while continuously improving operations.

• Lead deviation investigations ensuring that they a closed in a timely manner
• Review draft batch documentation and provide useful insight
• Compliance to all Health & Safety, Quality and Regulatory requirements
• Continuously improve manufacturing operations to deliver gains in either a reduction in cost and time or increase in quality
• Define appropriate Training programmes to ensure competency to future business needs
• Delivering Manufacturing output to Schedule

Manufacturing Shift Team Leader Job Description

The Shift Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the manufacturing process within the manufacturing suite. This includes but is not limited to planning the appropriate resource for the manufacturing process, health and safety of staff, people development and training, quality of product and managing the inter-relationships between Q&V, QC and QA. The aim of this role is to ensure that products are manufactured to schedule in a GMP compliant manner and also to aid the release of those manufactured products.
