Morrisons in York is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a busy team, ensuring safe, quality-driven manufacturing that meets customer demand. You will manage Team Managers and operators, driving continuous improvement and KPI-led performance across the site.

You will drive profitability, monitor costs, and collaborate with multiple functions to deliver results. The role offers Leadership School development and a strong benefits package for long-term career growth at Morrisons.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (ideally high risk).
• Proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to make decisions on the spot.
• Understanding of cost models, budgetary control and pest control management.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Team Managers who supervise operators and technicians.
• Ensuring health and safety of all colleagues and driving improvements.
• Maintaining a balanced scorecard against KPIs to drive site growth.
