Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy manufacturing business in Corby. The role is full-time, temp-to-perm, offering an hourly pay rate of £13.00 and a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

You will process sales orders, liaise with production, and provide professional admin support across the team while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales administration, order processing or a similar administrative role.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle enquiries efficiently.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

Responsabilités

• Process customer sales orders and update internal systems accurately.
• Assist with entering orders using the company's product configuration system.
• Prepare production paperwork, labels and order packs.
• Check orders against quotations and previous orders to ensure accuracy.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Liaise with production teams regarding lead times and order progress.
• Keep customers informed of production updates and delivery expectations.
• Support the preparation of quotations, customer tenders and business reports.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team when required.
• Maintain a tidy, professional working environment and follow company procedures.

About the Role

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with strong administration skills and a customer-focused approach.

Working closely with the sales and production teams, you will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately, production requirements are communicated effectively, and customers receive a professional and reliable service.

This role would suit someone who enjoys a varied administrative position, is confident using IT systems and can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quotations or costings would also be beneficial, although a willingness to learn is essential.
