Join JLR as a Manufacturing Safety Engineer! This is an exciting opportunity to impact automotive manufacturing, especially as we lead JLR's electrification efforts within the GME-P team. Your expertise will support our projects involving Engines, Electric Drive Units, Batteries, and advanced facilities.

What To Expect

• Collaborate on complex industrial installation projects with Powertrain Manufacturing and project teams.
• Support engineering, facilities, and construction teams to prioritize safety in factory designs.
• Ensure safety during installations and CDM activities, supporting site teams during design, build, installation, and buy-off phases, including international travel.
• Review machine and manufacturing line concepts for safety compliance, focusing on machinery safety and site plan reviews.
• Proactively improve health and safety adherence across all business areas and external entities.
• Advise and enforce safety measures during installations, including CDM and safety audits.

What You'll Need

• Experience in a mass manufacturing environment, especially with machinery and automation.
• Strong vendor management and supplier relationship skills, ensuring safety compliance.
• Automotive sector experience with understanding of safety standards is preferred.
• NEBOSH or CMSE certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
