JOB TITLE: Manufacturing / Quality Operator
LOCATION: Telford – Hortonwood
HOURS: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6. 5 days a week rotating shifts
Job Purpose:
The Manufacturing / Quality Operator will be responsible for the quality inspection and packing specification of the laminated (foiled) product as assigned to them by the Shift Co-ordinator.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry our relevant quality checks / inspections on assigned products as required by the product quality plan.
- Segregate all non-conforming products from good production.
- Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
- Record all required information for checking / inspection operations as per company works instructions / procedures.
- Alert relevant people to process and product concerns.
- Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Shift Co-ordinator and the training plan.
- Safeguard property issued by the company.
- Carry out continual visual quality inspections as determined by the product quality plan and procedure.
- Perform specific quality Checks / Tests as determined by the product quality plan.
- Pack laminated (foiled) products in accordance with the packing specification, as stated on the production schedule.
- Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks.
- Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others).
- Undertake reasonable duties as and when required.
- Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.

Key Experiences and Skills Required:
- Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
- Inspection of products

- Previous experience of working within an inspection role
