Job description

Job Description Summary

As a Manufacturing Quality Leader within our TPDG (Transformer Product Delivery Group), you will be at the heart of our quality strategy — leading the charge in aligning manufacturing KPIs, streamlining collaboration between cross-functional teams, and proactively resolving quality concerns before they escalate.

This pivotal role will see you coordinate closely with Fulfilment, Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams, ensuring our Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), CTQs, and PPAPs are fully aligned with customer requirements and executed with precision. You’ll drive root cause analysis, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and embed lessons learned into future projects, ultimately enhancing product performance and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the site manufacturing quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the focal point for manufacturing quality KPIs across Fulfilment, Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Own and align critical quality documentation including ITPs, CTQs, and PPAPs.
  • Champion manufacturing Risk Analysis using insights from previous projects to proactively mitigate future risks.
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and implementation of best practices to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

A strong background in transformer manufacturing is highly preferred, particularly with hands-on involvement in quality processes, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a production environment.

  • Significant experience in operational excellence or manufacturing quality leadership.
  • Solid understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies and tools, including DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt desirable).
  • Internal Auditor qualification would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience leading small teams (3–5 people) with proven capability to mentor and develop team members.

Desired Characteristics

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional quality and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Comfortable navigating complex problems and driving solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with clarity in written and verbal communication.

Why Join Us?

At GE Vernova, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth, with major new projects and contracts driving rapid expansion across our operations. As part of this momentum, we’re building an exceptional team to deliver excellence at every stage of manufacturing. You’ll join a high-performing environment led by an experienced and supportive manager who is deeply committed to developing talent and driving success. This is more than a role — it’s a career-defining opportunity to contribute to the future of sustainable energy solutions while advancing your own professional journey.
