Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage and continually improve the Quality Management System for manufacturing operations in Blackburn. You will drive ISO 9001 compliance, plan audits, and lead investigations into non-conformances, applying 8D, A3 and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

The role requires autonomous leadership, strong audit experience and the ability to collaborate with production and engineering to raise product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong experience with QMS.
• Experience with internal and external audits; certification preferred.
• Ability to lead activities and work autonomously when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) for ISO 9001 compliance.
• Plan, conduct and maintain internal, supplier and external audits with corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances and CAPA using 8D, A3 and Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Chair MRB meetings and support production/engineering to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
• Maintain quality documentation and monitor performance trends to drive quality and efficiency.
