Job summary

GPS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Halifax. You will manage purchasing, supplier relationships and stock, ensuring on-time delivery of materials and accurate ERP data.

The role is ideal for someone with 2+ years in Purchasing or Supply Chain, a manufacturing background, and strong numerical & communication skills. Working hours are 8:30-5:00, with a competitive salary around £38,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or a similar role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Confident dealing with suppliers.
• ERP and MS Office experience.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Good numerical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ordering and expediting raw materials and components
• Raising and processing purchase orders
• Monitoring suppliers and delivery schedules
• Managing stock levels and material availability
• Resolving supplier and delivery issues
• Supporting production planning and scheduling
• Maintaining accurate information on ERP systems
• Working closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Finance
