Job summary

Recra Ltd is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Assistant to join our established manufacturing team. You'll work closely with the Commercial Manager to manage day-to-day purchasing, maintain stock records and help ensure materials are available for production.

This role suits someone with purchasing experience, strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, able to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, ideally in manufacturing or production.
• Knowledge of inventory management or stock control.
• Strong IT skills and ability to maintain accurate system records.
• Good communication with suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Raise and process purchase orders with approvals.
• Source materials, obtain supplier prices and delivery information.
• Order materials against production schedules and internal requirements.
• Track outstanding orders and meet delivery deadlines.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Support supplier onboarding and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure purchases meet specifications and cost expectations.
