Job summary

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing engineering business to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join its expanding team. (4 day working week) This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of manufacturing projects from concept through design, build, installation and final customer acceptance.

You will lead the full project lifecycle, coordinating with engineering, automation and mechanical build teams to deliver on time, within budget and to high technical

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex engineering, manufacturing or technical projects.
• A strong engineering or technical background.
• Excellent planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• An Engineering qualification, PRINCE2/PMP or Lean/Six Sigma experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing manufacturing projects from concept to completion.
• Developing project schedules, resource plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Managing budgets, forecasting, cost control and project performance.
• Leading design reviews and identifying technical and operational risks.
• Managing customer expectations and providing regular project updates.
• Resolving technical and operational issues throughout the project lifecycle.
