More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Manufacturing Project Manager to join our Industrialization team in Cwmbran, Wales, UK with Signify.

As a Manufacturing project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing industrial activities for Systems and Services (segments Public, Office & Industry, Retail & Hospitality), focusing on quality, time and budget.

Your focus will be on Production management as well as New Product Introductions (NPIs).

What you’ll do
  • You will lead the production unit, related processes, and staff in the execution of world class operational performance.
  • Deliver products on time with high factory and supplier yields ensuring there is an optimum production process as regards routing, supplies and manpower levels
  • Select, manage, develop, coach, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient manufacturing.
  • Deploy & execute manufacturing standards and support LEAN implementation & continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and lead production transfers to alternative factories when assigned
  • Successfully arrange and qualify all custom material suppliers

  • Technical background, preferably in industrial engineering or electrical engineering
  • +5 years of relevant working experience in the field of electronics manufacturing
  • Advanced Planning, organizing and execution skills
  • Ability to act independent; Take ownership and responsibility for the NPI projects you’re working on
  • Clear in communication (fluent English in verbal and writing required)
