Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is partnering with a North East manufacturing leader to hire a Project Engineer. The role focuses on coordinating projects from proposal through to completion, delivering improvements, and supporting equipment upgrades across multiple departments.

You will work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, proper documentation, and safe, compliant project execution. A strong engineering background and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering projects from planning to completion.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering projects from proposal to completion.
• Support site-wide improvement initiatives for efficiency and reliability.
• Specification, procurement and implementation of engineering solutions and production equipment.
• Maintain technical documentation and project records.
• Track timelines, budgets and deliverables.
