Job summary

GEM Partnership Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor for a Henlow facility. You will lead a small maintenance team, manage plant and equipment uptime, and drive safety and project work across site.

The role requires a time-served electrical biased engineer with 5+ years in maintenance and project leadership in manufacturing, plus ONC-level education. Attractive salary around £55k with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-apprenticeship experience in maintenance and project work.
• Supervision or project leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Educational qualification to ONC level or equivalent.
• Strong health and safety awareness and compliance.
• Good communication and PC literacy; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant/machinery improvement projects and activities.
• Oversee day-to-day reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Modify and test equipment; manage project documentation and commissioning.
• Plan, organise and direct the site maintenance team to boost uptime.
• Coordinate equipment purchases and implement processes for product development.
